CROFI – Craft of India. India is very rich in traditions, culture, heritage and crafts. The crafts of India are diverse, rich in history, culture and religion. The craft of each state in India reflect the influence of different empires. Throughout centuries, crafts have been embedded as a culture and tradition within rural communities. Every region of India has wide range of art and craft. The crafts of India have been valued throughout time; their existence today proves the efforts put into their preservation.

CROFI was developed in 2022 by NPO Consortium for Industry Development & Awareness CIDA with support of Agency Promotion of Art Culture Tourism and Heritage Foundation under support of SFURTI scheme of Ministry of MSME Govt of India with the vision to promote and protect artisan’s products.We work with the rural artisan’s communities to promote their art and craft worldwide. Under CROFI, we provide a platform to the artisans where they can display and sell their products in domestic as well as export market. Currently CROFI is working with many artisans, SHGs, FPOs, OFPOs and clusters and giving them required support like technical, financial, promotions, market linkages etc.
